Instructions for Parents
General Discipline Guidelines
1. Children must arrive at school on time. They should be present on the premises at least five minutes before the first bell.
2. Students who are habitually late or arrive without a valid reason will not be allowed to attend class and may be sent home at the parents’ expense.
3. Any damage to school property will be charged to the student responsible.
4. Rowdy or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
5. Non-school books, magazines, or other unauthorized items brought without prior permission will be confiscated.
6. Writing on blackboards, desks, walls, or any place other than in the student’s own notebook is strictly prohibited.
7. Students must speak in English at all times within the school premises.
8. Students are responsible for their personal belongings. They are advised not to bring money, jewelry, or other valuables to school.
9. School property must be handled with the utmost care.
10. Classrooms and school premises must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
11. In case of absence due to illness, a medical certificate must be submitted before the student is allowed to return to school.
12. In the teacher’s absence, the class prefect is responsible for maintaining discipline and order.
13. Attendance on the first day after vacations is compulsory.
14. Absence without prior leave for events such as weddings or feasts may result in a fine or, at the Headmaster’s discretion, dismissal.
15. Parents, guardians, or visitors are not permitted to meet students during school hours without prior approval from school authorities.
16. While the school takes all reasonable precautions to ensure student safety on the premises and in school transport, it cannot be held liable for any accident or mishap.
17. Under no circumstances are parents or guardians allowed to enter classrooms.
18. Prior approval from the Principal is required before offering gifts to any staff member in their honour.
